The plantations in the city of Quincy, two hours from Seattle (
Washington, USA) were routinely visited by me in 2007. I was invited by my goddaughter and her family, residents of Quincy. I discovered that it was a city whose economy was built on the production of fruit and vegetable plantations in the area. The indigenous people from Oaxaca worked there, illegally hired by the plantation owners.
