Palm Sunday in the church of Tilcara, Quebrada de Humahuaca (
Jujuy, Argentina), year 2003. On that date, the locals make a religious procession around the church, at the same time the musicians come down with their sikuris and the bands of sikus, drums and boxes from the highlands, in a show where the peasants of the area show off with their bands, and musical instruments, the craft stalls, and the religious procession, as a clear example of religious and cultural syncretism.
